The Hulu problem

i really hate hulu and cbs for that matter..i think cbs is worse in the way that it scares the shit oot of me with that robo voice!

i, myself, havent found that many miscategorized hulu vids( though i know they are oot there)

i stand by my demand that they be marked somehow. the first word should always be hulu or cbs..or us-only or something so i dont frigging click on them!!

There are a lot of misplaced Hulu vids. There was over a page of them on The inFamous Spot. There were also some on The Fable Spot and some on The Mirror's Edge Spot.

As I said a while back, users should be allowed to add videos from Hulu, but Hulu must not instruct any of their employees to add videos neither should they create web-crawlers.

The thing I don't like is that even if they are in the appropriate spot, the keywords they use are awful. For example, instead of making the kewords "the office, season 5, episode 1, weight loss, full episode" it's "hulu, nbc" - totally useless!

The other day I was in the Donkey Kong spot and there was a Hulu video of Will Forte from SNL on Conan O'Brien. At first I was like "OK, this is ridiculous" but then I actually watched the video and it turns out that Will Forte actually talked about Donkey Kong for a while.

I think in some cases Hulu videos are helpful (well, only for US users, I suppose), but like you said, seeing an apple pie video in the Apple spot is lame.

the thing is dave said he gets no money from the hulu company, he said they thought it would be nice for user to have the vids......and yet us users keep protesting them and they're still here so i sort of wonder if they really have any purpose.....

I just made a new spot yesterday... Came in today to find it full of the most BIZARRE things. The spot I made is for Hello Kitty Online. Sanrio's new MMORPG.

I've got videos now in there for the Alien movie, the Colbert Report, McHale's Navy, American Dad, My Own Worst Enemy, Chicago Hope, Arrested Development and some kind of "Solitary" thing.

I love Hulu for catching episodes of my favorite TV shows... but I HATE them for what they do here on Fanpop. It amounts to nothing more than spam, really.

I'm glad someone does something about it , Hulu was driving me mad. His videos are everywhere and I can't even watch it. ( not american)

Down with Hulu!!!! If someone creates a spot for it, i'll join.

I probably would, but in the faq it says you can't create spots agenst things. no hate spots.

why not just report the user Hulu for spamming?

Because that complaint gets sent to either the F4 or the moderators; and neither will remove Hulu.

well I did it any ways cause I had 3 pages of miscatagorized videos which ended up in my mind spamming my updates so I reported the videos and the user as well if they want they can Email me...

for a quick look just check there profile and look at there activity section under videos it is not a pretty site they have a dog show posted under that 70's show and national treasue the movie an another show can't remember they have don it for alot just check it out it may frustrate you even more...lol
