I don't see why they would do that. Maybe there have been some problems with the medalsystem and so on, but I don't see why they need to close Fanpop.

first off i had heard nothing of this so dont believe it unless if one of the F4 confirms it

haha! really this is quite funny i have never seen such a reaction to a pick i mean i am sure when everyone saw this they were like 0_0 'omg! fanpop is closing' but you know i was thinking a little later what would my life be without fanpop =/

i have pretty much grew up on here in some ways lol i mean three years of my life {started when i was in my late 13teens and know i am in my late 15teens.} so yea? lol its kinda like a second home. Although i have seen many people come and go i have never even thought of the day i would leave and what would i do.... haha i cant even remember life before fanpop, maybe i would just go back to watching TV gossip and such lol sorry i am rambling but now =].

they would never shut it down, they have closed it in the past for server fixes when they upgraded servers but that was for like a dayor so, but no it wont happen...lol

wow its kinda weird to see everyone panic over a simple question i would hate if fanpop shut down but as far as i know there is no plan for it to this was just a simple question but its great to see everyones comment i agree with you all i would go crazy if they closed fanpop and i too am wondering who would say yes if they did they shouldn't be on this site

NEVER! NOOO! Fanpop can't shut down. I love this site too much. Even with many of the members leaving, and all the problems, I still love it. A new generation of fanpoppers is forming an it's wonderful. I love it here. I honestly do.
