The deadline for all submissions is the 4th of July!
That's right: All entries must be submitted until the 4th of July 2009. We have had the discussion previously about which time zone fanpop operates on but I'm actually always too lazy to figure it oot: just submit it in time! =P
Voting starts as soon as the submissions period is over! You have two weeks to vote so remember:
You must have cast your votes until the 18th of July!
There is an elaborate article about voting on this spot I'm sure but I thought I would cover the basics here again in case there are any doubts. This article wont be complete- we still dont know how many entries we will have, the spot still seems a bit slow in terms of comment contributions, forum activity etc so these are just the basics on voting and I will edit this as we go along!
One thing I urge you to do in the meantime: Please comment and rate! If you see submissions on the spot, take the time to look at them, rate them and write a comment telling the user what you thought. I think it's only encouraging to fans if they see that people took the time to share their thoughts..just like they took the...

This summary of all the rules and information about the Fanpop's Got Talent competition was last edited on 8 June 2009.
Concept
Fanpop's Got Talent (FGT) is an annual talent competition. In this contest, Fanpop Users compete by submitting some material to the FGT spot that demonstrates some talent during a set submission period. After that period ends, the body of Fanpop Users then vote on their top choices, which are relayed to a panel of judges for the final decision. The winner gets kudos and a warm glowy feeling.
Judging
The duties of a judge are essentially to tally votes and provide feedback to participants - they do not actually do any judging beyond each casting their own vote. Instead, they are more like moderators.
In 2009, there are four judges, continuing in the role from last year's pool of judges and judge alternates. They are:

This article lists all of the entries for the first Fanpop's Got Talent competition for easy reference, and was last edited on 10 July 2008 (added voting instructions to the end). I checked with amazondebs - the Boss - about it first, and this should be used to augment this video listing all the entries. They're listed here by order of submission, except (possibly) in cases where I didn't see which of different kinds of submissions (images, articles) were submitted first on the same day. Where the participants have listed which talents are to be considered, those talents are listed as well.
