I've got to get over that though, because I have cotillion in two years, and for that I have to wear a full length one.
I'm not going with a guy, just two friends. I had a few offers, but IDK... at that time everything at school was really crazy, and I didn't want people to start spreading that I was dating who I was going with etc.
People actually weren't able to accept that I didn't have a boyfriend, because I've been in relationships continuously since I was eleven. I just needed a break for a little while, and to have some fun.
Plus, by not going with one guy, I'm not tied down for the evening.

I just meant that if I go with a guy, I would feel obligated to spend the whole night with him, whereas this way I get to dance with all my friends and spend time with everyone.

It was kind of funny in GG, when they were having the cotillion dance class like the day before the event. It's not like that... you apply to be presented at one four years before, and find out if you're accepted two months later. If you are, you have classes from that point until the event.
