Well, in my mind at least.
Here are some of the reasons why ~
1) Foreman nearly killed her in his desperation to save her:
Not only did he risk his job and his career by switching her from the placebo onto the Huntington's drug, he actually risked her life. He was so desperate to help her that he damn near killed her! As pointed out by House, love blinds people and makes them do stupid things, and Foreman did the mother of all incredibly stupid things!
2) Thirteen brings out the best in Foreman:
Obviously, Foreman came out of his shell at Chase's bachelor party. He was having fun and was keen for Thirteen to have fun too (licking strippers!). Clearly Foreman was having a great time and him and Thirteen were always together at the party.
But also, in my opinion, Foreman has been taking much more of a leadership role in the differentials. He has seemed a lot more confident and has stood up for himself and others a lot more. I think this comes from personal confidence that his relationship with Thirteen has given him.
3) They are open with each other:
A couple that goes to check out strippers (and lick strippers!) together, stays together. Like Wilson said, the fact that they can have fun together like that is a good sign. Thirteen asking for Foreman's wallet so that she could tip the stripper is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
Also, after Kutner's death, they went through a little rough patch due to Foreman wanting to be on his own. But Thirteen was understanding enough to give him some space, and Foreman was understanding enough to realise that he needed to be there for her. I think that they made a much deeper emotional connection during that time.
So, I think it is awesome that they are both becoming so comfortable with each other emotionally and sexually.
4) Names:
They have called each other by their first names. That makes me squeal like a fangirl.
So those are just some thoughts that I wanted to add to the thoughts that I shared in the 'Contest For You' forum. I was just looking through all the crap that I spewed out in that forum, when I realised that Foreteen is really the only ship that I am, like, totally addicted to in terms of how freakin' obsessed I am with it. Honestly, I love all the other ships, but I think I finally found my 'real' ship and that feeling grows with each episode.
And that concludes my random Foreteen shipping thoughts.
