Fort Minor’s debut album ‘The Rising Tied’ is set to drop on November 21st/22nd, and MTV have the album to listen to, streaming it’s entirety. I took a listen to the album earlier today, and impressed doesn’t begin to touch this.

Remember The Name (Featuring Styles of Beyond)
The first track released onto the internet, this is an introduction to Fort Minor - with Mike, Ryu and Takbir rhyming about themselves in third person. The beat can get a bit tedious after a long time of listening, but overall this fits in to the album nicely and is a nice introduction to the album.
Right Now (Featuring Black Thought of The Roots and Styles of Beyond)
Likened to the track “Spraypaint and Ink Pens” from the ‘Fort Minor: We Major’ Mixtape, this is one of the most lyrically competent songs on the album. Inspired by the film ‘Shortcuts’, Right Now is a story-telling track with catchy yet reflective choruses. Talking about the difficulties faced everyday by people right across the globe, this is a hard-hitting track about real life around the world.
