I was so excited. But I was asking myself.."Will I make a poster or won't I?" So at 10.30pm I set about making two of the greatest posters ever made! :D 1) I PRACTICE KAPRANOSISM 2) BOB FOR PRESIDENT. k? k. I spent SO LONG colouring them in. I had pastel's EVERYWHERE. But they.....they were lovely. THE ACTUAL DAY I get up at 9am to get the bus at 11.30 (nothing interesting happened until I got there) I arrive in Dublin at 2.20 and Ciara heads to the apartment and I head off to the Olympia. I got there at 2.35 and Lorraine came and met me at 3.00. We waited. And waited. a very cute boy was unloading the truck with a group of other cute boys. He asked us how we were. We giggled. He becomes very important later on. A few groups of people walked by "nope... they're not fans" we wanted the attention see. But one girl passed twice. A fan. Her name is Vanessa and she's really really sweet so it was ok to let her join us HaHa :-) THEN a boy called Miles shows up. bit weird... but it's ok because he left. So an englishman tells us franz will be out soon. LOW AND BEHOLD. "OH MY GOD." *GASPS* Bob and Paul saunter around the corner. We form a line...kind of. I make my way towards him and ask for a photo. (he obliges) I even teach him how to spell my name. :o) I told him I had a poster that he would like, and he was VERY interested. :-) Then I got my photo with Paul and told him that I love his accent. (he was happy with that.) We then proceeded to tell them that we were available to play drums for Outsiders, because Andy isn't here anymore. Which led them to say "Aww Andy" but then Paul told me that all four of them play the drums :D EXCITING! The go back inside and Bob tells us to enjoy the gig that Alex and Nick are on the way :0) *breathes* We wait for a while, and Ciara comes back *yayyy* We wait. We wait. Ciara said "sunglasses" (a woman coming down the street) she just HAPPENED to be walking with Alex and Nick! *squeals* "HIIIIII!" I got over to Nick first because everyone else goes to Alex! I ask him for a photo (he obliges and signs my DVD) I have to say that he was squeezing me so tight to him I was like "oh nick" ^^he may even be biting his lip. I told him that Fabulously Lazy is one of my favourite songs ever "...cos you know it..it's like...your song" "haha really??" "y'know if you run out of songs to play, you could play that!" "We only ever played it like...once before!" "really???" :o "yeah! it just...didn't work" "awwww....or....you could play...Van Tango, orr....Shopping for Blood! OR Love and Destroy I love that song too" "Or L.Wells" (lorraine) Nick seems very impressed with our B-side/unrelease knowledge. I thank him...and head over to the main man himself. "Hiii Alex! Do you mind signing my DVD?" "not at all *reads* Sinéad!" "you can em...you can write it out agian if you like" "haha alright, *writes Hi Sinéad, Alex x*" I get a photo with him. He SQUEEZES ME! I SWEAR! It felt really nice :-) Then I looked at him... "Em...can I have a hug? please?" "awwww of course!" *BIG HUG* *melts* *dies* *reforms* I tell him that I have a poster he WILL like :D He was very happy someone had taken the time to make a poster. I look at Alex and just say "you really have no idea how happy i am....I'm...god I'm such a huge fan" I am. I COULDN'T NOT SAY IT!!! BY THE WAY in the middle of all this I am constantly saying "omg omg i'm so happy" Before Nick walks inside, I ask him can I have a plec or something at the end and he starts frantically searching his pockets and i'm like "noooo AFTER! we'll be at the front, cos we're the first here ;-)" He agrees. The proceed to go inside. They disappear and I SCREAM. *phew* Then we queued. THE SHOW So we get in. THE PIT. Obviously we were THE FIRST people there! And as soon as we're inside we realise that we are FRONT CENTRE! FRONT FUCKING CENTRE!! THAT'S WHERE ALEX IS! The Funeral Suits take to the stage on the dot. I wasn't very interested initially but I have to say they grew on me. Then...after about 5 songs from them...... FRANZ TOOK TO THE STAGE They started with Come on Home. MY FAVOURITE SONG! WAVINNNNG my Kapranosism poster, Alex smiles at me and sinnngs a good bit of the second verse to meeeeeeee :-) he is so smouldering! After that song, I switch to "Bob for President" and Alex says "what does that say?? BOB FOR PRESIDENT! LOOK BOB!" :D:D:D They play all my favourite songs. I notice, Alex has odd shoes. HOW BIZZARRE? Why I wonder? So, when franz go away for a two minute break before the encore, I scribble on the back of my Bob poster "ODD SHOES?" They come back onstage and I hold it up. It's not until Darts of Pleasure that Alex realises! HE ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY LAUGHED! Alex LOL'D at my poster! how exciting!! I then hold up my "Hey Nick, remember me? can i have a plec?" poster. He winks. I'M IN. They begin to play Outsiders and we are having PALPITATIONS at this stage! They all make they're way up to join Paul and ALL of them start playing the drums! Then...when they've finished. Alex walks to the edge of the stage and throws his drumstick to me. TO ME!!! And then I die. OFFICIALLY. At the very end after an EXHAUSTING "this fiirreee" the take their bows and he throws me a plec...but I lost it :( Nick forgets but...OH WELL. AFTER THE SHOW We all wait around once again. I have already met them, so I just asked the doorman if he could get my posters signed. He obliges :) An hour later........ No sign of my poster :( Bob comes out "Hiii Bob! Did you like my poster?" "Yeah I have it in my bag. Its great!" "oooh....I wanted ye to siiign it....but nevermind" "nooo let me sign it" "no keep it" *signs poster* I feel guilty now. But Bob takes me pic with Parker(parker was confused) DAD CALLS and tells me to GO HOME. it's midnight. :( Meanwhile, I'm talking to that boy from the red truck. remember? Danny. And *BING* Can you give Franz BACK this poster? He obliges. Not until after I write them a note. Alex was chuffed with it. THANK YOU DANNY!
