I like him in all of his movies because he really is a great actor. However, I have to say his character was very interesting in The Fifth Element. Very amusing to hear a texas accent coming from him, plus his hair was just hilarious.
That was a tough one; he was, for me, the definitive Dracula. However, being a Batman fan, I felt that he was equally impressive as Commissioner Gordon. Honestly, I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. He's a damn good actor.
I never thought I would join a Fan Club Its just not my style but this guy Gary Oldman is the best actor Ive come across in years, I feel he is so damn under rated its obscene. This has compelled me to want to join a fan club in support of this outstanding Thesbian. I was speechless in his portrayel of Dracula, damn he just made one sympaties and loathe this character, although there were a great deal of special effects which I am a huge fan of, if there is no quality acting to coincide with it it is pure garbage the in my eyes. He just bought this Evil entity into a completely ne realm. He did the character more justice than all the other Vampire portayels done by others combined. Then his role as Stansfield in the Professional, man what can be said, he was incredible every little nuance every minute gesture, nothing was left to chance he was so damn evil in this role I was just perplexed. Then I recall the small role he had in True Romance, this just goes to show the incredible range to his craft. It really is weird for me to gush over anybody but this guy is just so damn good at his chosen profession, I guess I would praise anyone that did said phenominal work in their respective field. I love his work. I just hope that he does other roles in which he plays evil characters the reason being when one portrays an evil character there seems to be more of a challenge in so doing there is the back story of the character to take into consideration which makes it more believable, theres so much more complexities in these types of characters. I hear Gary wants to do mainly reserved roles I truley hope thats not for to long. In the Batman Movies he plays Gordon I felt if he wedre one of the villians he would perhaps upstage the whole movie. It would have been so interesting to see him in a villian role for the Batman series. This man deserves nominations from the Oscar academy for a few of his roles and its so dissapointing that he has'ntbeen as of yet.
