Here is my opinion of this video. FREAKY! This my favorite song by Genesis. The video is creepy and strange though. The dream the man has is brought on by booze (alcohol)but I don't think even the power of booze could make something so strange. The singers are made to look like our favorite band. The beginning, someone walking through a swamp, picking up heads which is a visual of the confusion of the world. Then the man turns into Superman, because of the second stanza: "Oh Superman, where are you now?" Then in the middle, he is married to a monkey, another visual of how confusing the world is.
The man's wife is a monkey, and the woman; dinosaur for a husband. The strangeness is good for the song but it's plain weird.
