The academy of Country Music has instituted a brand new format for selecting their prestigious “Entertainer of the Year” award. Beginning on May 1st, 2008, voting will be done by the fans through the Academy. Fans will be able to log on to the nominees website and vote or from the CBS television website. Fans will also find links to the voting page at such social networking sites as Face Book and My Space. Fans will be able to vote until the last hour of the ACM Televsion show on May 11th. |
