So Ghost Hunters is an amazing show and I've never missed an episodes but I do have some questions...
First, who is Kris Williams? Is she just a publicity thing from SciFi? Cuz check it,http://imdb.com/name/nm1366043/ she has a IMDB page that lists her acting credits. So is she really on the team because she is interested in the paranormal or is it because she wants the attention to further her minimal career???
Also, I saw on the TAPS website that Mike Dion is listed as Director of TAPS, but have we seen him since the first season. And, it only has Jason listed as "founder" not lead investigator, Andy Andrews is listed as "lead investigator". So I'm wondering, what are the differences between TAPS and "Ghost Hunters"???
And for now the last is, was that Manson case for real??? I've seen so much stuff that debunks that case, so I'm wondering, what is up with that???
Anyway, thanks for reading and I'll get off my Soapbox now. If you have answers please leave them. Thanks!

Ghost Hunters is the show created by Pilgrim/Sci-Fi network. TAPS is the team they have hired to do the actual investigating for the show. TAPS was here doing their thing way before Sci-Fi started to air Ghost Hunters. Technically, Sci-Fi could use the name Ghost Hunters, make a let's say Season 5 and have a complete new team investigate. Ghost Hunters International is also from Sci-Fi and although the members were former TAPS people, there really is no affiliation between TAPS and GHI. They are completely different entities (no pun intended). In fact if you go to the TAPS official site, you'll notice that Brian, Donna and Andy are no longer listed as actual TAPS members. The opening sequence of GH1 episode 1 where Jay and Grant sent Donna out to meet with Robb and start GHI is misleading, probably an idea by Sci-Fi network. Two separate shows on the same channel with 2 completely different teams, and although there are familiar faces in GHI, they really are no longer affiliated with TAPS. Jay and Grant actually mention this on their personal myspace pages. There's no real bad blood between the two shows, but Jay and Grant seem to really want to get the message across that they are 2 different teams.

Thanks Chilly for the answer. I was going to say the same exact thing. As for Mike Dion being director, that probably means he is merely in control of what TAPS does, he doesn't go on as many investigations, but instead makes sure everything runs smoothly. Jason is the Founder and was soon joined by Grant, that was explained in Jason's recent book. Though Jason tends to make it out to most if not all the cases. The Mason case I thought was well done, I don't really know about the device they used but I think I will have to watch that particular episode once more.
