Does Melinda See Jim as JIM, orr Jim as SAM??

Ok. I have been wondering this as well, because a lot of people always says that "only Mel & the viewers see Jim as JIM", which is what I would have always preferred to be the truth, (that she still saw Jim as Jim & not as the Sam guy as well.

But if that's true, then where did we ever learn that?? Because in season 4 she says that she's sees the same guy Eli & Delia see, & that hes not Jim, but she knows that Jim is in him somewhere, & I don't remember her ever retracting from that comment.

Yet, everyone I always talk to says that Mel sees him as Jim as well as us @ home. Soo I just wanted to ask how we know that..??

Again, don't get me wrong! I really, REALLY wish that she saw Jim still as Jim.. & Ithink it would make sense through her gift to still see Jim as Jim because of seeing his spirit/the real him & what not.. I just, I don't think they unfortunatly wrote it that way. :( haha.

I'm so confused.. The writers did a major TV NO NO...Did you notice that on Jim/Sam's name badge in the hospital the picture is of the Jim who Died???? Not the Sam who we used to see last season in the reflection or mirror. Only Melinda and the TV viewers are supposed to see Jim as the old Jim who died lol...And how did Jim become a Dr in 5 years??? Or was Sam a Dr before he died? Jim/Sam's name on his hospital badge says S. James Lucas M.D." not Dr. S Lucas and not Dr. J Clancy. A lot of flubs here! and they are almost trying to make it seem as if last year never happened and that we the viewers all are to dumb to realize the corner the backed themselves into. It made good Drama last season but does not follow up this season..They should of used a "the whole death of Jim was a dream thingy" and had her wake up from it in the seasons premiere this year and start fresh...I'm not happy thus far
