How the tragedy of Jim's death affected me too

Sometimes we understand that gud things dont last long, we accept that ppl got to die someday. But why kill Jim off? U know wat I tink? From the beginning of the first season, if u carefully scrutinise Jim and Melinda's relationship as a married couple ud see that Melinda is always kinda stressed out as if she wants more, someting more and Jim is just loving and gives her alot of love. Remember times wen Jim would have to leave to go to work and Melinda would be say on her computer or reading someting about some ghost,,dont u see how she just barely kisses him then goes quickly back to what she was doin? I mean alot of ppl will disagree wid me but this is what I tink. I tink that the reason they killed Jim off was to give Melinda a wake up call. See, to make their relationship stronger by Melinda now having to work towards getting Jim back. And, in the process, get to know him all over again. Get to love him and realise that she cant always put the ghosts' work in front of her husband. She has to remember that Jim chose her to be his wife even though he knew of her gift to see the dead. Many men would think of her as WIERD. But he didnt. I mean, if I was in her place I would be like singing sweeet words to him everyday and making my love stronger for him and me. dats just my opinion. But my point is, everything that happens happens for a reason. And this time around Melinda has got to work hard to get back Jim. She will someday realise that her love and his love was like a candle fading in the dark. Laterzz...

I just saw tonights episode of Ghost Whisperer, and I have my fix the withdrawal can stop, I missed the show last week. What could of been that important? It looks like our dear, Melinda got her man back, was there any doubt. That kind of love can pull you back from the edge of anywhere even death, even some strangers body you jump into without a second thought, because you could not leave your heart here, and go to another place with out that love. Yes, fellow Ghost whisperers, I feel just like that. Did you see her face when he said, "call me, Jim"? He might as well of breathed life right into her. She came back from where ever you go when you love at that level dies. Please do not stop writing how you feel about this amazing show. In this day and time we need all the amazing love we can capture. purplerose

of him leaving is one of the worst things in the world.

I was astonished at that event on the show, because there was no rhyme or reason for it. Typically when a character is killed off on a show, means the actor/actress wants off of the show to pursue other roles. The complicated fact that they retained David Conrad, even after killing Jim off, goes completely against the grain. With all of the information at our disposal as of the end of season four and even considering any spoilers for season five, there's no logical explanation for killing Jim and keeping David. Maybe this confusing situation will be resolved sometime in season five or another later season.

P.S. My opinion on the subject is that if they were dead set on killing Jim they should have done it in season one when they originally planned to do it. That way we wouldn't have grown so attached to him (for those of us who are attached to him).
