Dean: Seasons 1-3
Dean was a great first boyfriend for Rory. But as far as forever, I don't know how Rory could stand it. He always treated her like a toddler and it really bugged me. He was majorly overprotective. After Rory met Jess I couldn't wait for D&R to break up. And I think the way Dean broke up with her at the Dance Marathon was a little unnecessary and public, huh?

Jess: Season 3
Jess was the boyfriend that Rory had the most in common with. True, he wasn't as good to her as Dean was but he cared about her so much. Even when he comes back in various times during 4-7, you can tell he is in love with Rory.

Dean: Season 5
I definitely liked Dean better during this time. He was much less annoying and let Rory be independent. Even though it was a more awkward situation for them, Lorelei, Lindsay, Luke, and the rest of the town, they tried to make it work.

Logan: Seasons 5-7
Logan was my second favorite. He reminds me more of Jess than Dean in the way that he was a 'bad boy'. I liked Logan and think he was good for Rory. She didn't get into trouble bc of him. It was her fault usually. I can't believe when he proposed to Rory she said no. They'd been dating for like 2 years! Even though I like to think she went back to Jess, if not she can marry Logan. I allow her haha.

I don“t agree with you with logan. I think she is to young to get married, I feel like this also with lane. You can't say that this is your soulmate when you just discorved yourself. I also hated dean in season 4/5. Jess is my favorit he knew her even after all those years. He was the best boyfriend, but not husband material for her. He was not always good for her, but he has changed and made something out of his life. Therefor I think she will meat somebdy els or will get back with Jess or maybe even Logan.

dean was the sweetest boyfriend but he got old really quickly. jess was awesome because he was a soft cuddly person on the inside and rory saw that. when he left i was like are you kidding me. but then dean returned it was annoying cause he never stopped loving rory but got married anyway. the nigh before he got married to lindsay he was saying to luke all this stuff about rory, it didnt seem right. logan is my favorite. she straightened him out and made him commit which took ALOT of effort. i was upset that he gave her an ultimatium because they belong together. and then rory left so they will never get the chance. it needs a movie to tie up all the questions

Jess was my favourite! Dean both annoyed and bored me - season 1 was about the only time I could stand him. But I disagree with what you said about Logan, they weren't right for each other. I liked him sometimes but more often than not he annoyed me. I think it was his influence that got her into trouble, if not him directly. I was glad she said no to his proposal, they were too young and his ultimatum was very selfish. If he really had loved her, he would have waited. She had barely finished college and wasn't sure what she wanted from life - which he had been deciding on his own for over a year - but he was automatically limiting her options by moving to San Francisco. Eventually her career would have been put on the back burner and his would come first. It may not have been intentional but everything was set up for that to happen. She would have become just like her grandmother and although she may lead a very happy life, I don't think it's what Rory had envisioned her life to be. I think deep down that's why she said no, otherwise she could have just asked for a long engagement.

I compeletly agree with this article. I liked Dean in Season One, but in Season two the vibe was different because Jess was there, and i liked Jess in Season Three, but i thought that he was to immature and unpredictable for Rory, but in Season Six he is a lot more mature. I like Logan the best, and i think that he is like Jess in that they are both unpredictable, immature, intellegent and like books, and they both love Rory. I would want Rory to marry him if she doesn't someday, miraculasly marry Logan.
