Definitely go to London! There's lots to do there, including a ton of museums. There's the British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Parliament, the Tower of London, the list goes on. Since you like history, you should also check out Stonehenge. I also really liked Bath, but the only thing to do there is visit the Roman baths.

yer u can't go to the UK without going to london!
ummm it reli depends when u are going, because cornwall is just stunning (south west of UK), but in the summer, it gets packed with tourists, and prices rise on everything, but off-season its gorgeous!!!!
if u want museums, london is definately your best bet it has incredible ones.
Ohhh and whilst you're in london a few other things to see: the royal albert hall, oxford street, you can't go there without walking through hyde park its gorgeous ohh and tower of london of course :)

London is great just to get the feel of the place, its such a buzz ;) If you like museums the Natural History Museum is good, as is the science museum. The British museum in my opinion is a bit boring, but im not really a museum person so you may like it, although I would seriosuly advise against the Victoria and Albert. Maybe go on the london eye, altho it takes 45 mins, its great for sight seeing

if you're also going to wales, there's big pit, brecon beacons, oh and pembrokeshire is nice, and there's a few islands just off the coast from penbrokeshire (cant remember names lol) but i dont know much about any english/scottish/irish stuff. but i do know the museum in Cardiff is great!

Go to London!!! There is so much history there! I'm going for the second time in November and am really looking forward to it!! Also go to Ireland! Dublin is nice, but just go driving and take in the beautiful scenary! Same with Scotland and Wales! Just go and enjoy the countryside! Hope you have fun!!

Dont just stay in london ! Go to the north of england also, Theres some great things to see! citys like : Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool. Also you will see the greta english countryside . ( =
