it doesn't swim for me

i've watched the first episode and a little of the second and it's missing something.
i know it's missing emma but did claire holt have a quality that made the show work? sure many like indiana and i knew they would but emma created a pace for the entire show, it feels rushed now and the rythym and timing is off. emma kept things going at a certain pace and now it just feels bland and all running together.
oh well now the classic original three will be even more appreciated by true blue fans of h2o.
