I usually don't watch vampire movies but Twilight is exeption. Though I like very much Angel and Buffy the vampire Slayer. Please notice this!This is purely my own opinion.

Well, my friends at school call me'Witch' because I quite clever...

And having a small obsession to Harry Potter also contributed.

Vampires, especially Stephenie Meyer`s vampires are something more of a combination between a mythological being a modern-day superhero -not that tha`s bad.It`s maybe the best way to renew, to bring in flew blood(LOL) to the fictional vampire world.But with magic-it`s something that has always existed-it`s so real,yet transfers you to another world. So, yeah, I`d be a witch( although some say I`m one already LOL)

Um, I like twilight better but I would much rather be a wizard. One reason is that I would not be tempted to drink human blood...ew..... and I would not be a monster (as Edward calls it). Anyway being able to do magic sounds really cool!

Wizard, definitely. If you're a wizard you can do everything a vampire does and much more. And plus, I'd hate to live forever. As a wizard, you can pretty much choose when you want to die (as long as no-one kills you).

The thing that makes Harry Potter better than Twilight (aside from, you know, everything else XD) is that characters in Twilight are forever immortal and can't die, while in Harry Potter death is shown how it REALLY is: a part of life that you must accept, and sometimes a great adventure to an organized mind.

(Ignoring Twilight 'vampires' because they are really sparklepyres, a type of glittering fairy, not to be confused with the dark, undead vampire. Anne Rice writes true vampires, so that is what I'm going off of.)

Hmm...tough call. I've been obsessed with the species of the vampire for years, and always wishing I they existed. They have always absolutely fascinated me. The undead characteristic especially intrigued me for some reason; it really brought a sense of unholy evil to them, which people completely overlook nowadays so that vampires have become very blaise and no one can see the true beauty of the myths. It may sound shallow, but when I speak this I'm only thinking of the mythical creature. I have always wanted to be of something higher than a human being. I have wanted to have been born in a different era and lived throughout the years, watching societies crumble to be replaced with new ones. To be untouched by time and disease. I've always wanted to have incredible, superior senses and to lurk in the night, which is still so mysterious to us. To be a predator, the thing you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. To have the incredible speed and agility, to be able to explore the oceans because I don't have to breathe. My only weaknesses would be the sun and fire (which are in a way the same thing). I don't care about beauty, because I think to say that vampires are beautiful is freaking retarded; it's like putting a cute pink bow on a zombie. But I thought maybe a slight perfection to the features the person already had, I know it sounds confusing but it's not the same thing as being astonishingly beautiful. I mean, THEY'RE DEAD, for christ's sake. I don't think they should be attractive, it's stupid and pointless. But I have always just thought that being what a true vamp (in my mind, Anne Rice's) would be amazing. Like I said, just because it's inhuman and supernatural and higher than humans in a realm that we don't understand. I hunger to understand it. It sounds so cool.

But wizards/witches are awesome, nuff said about that. I cried for a long time after I turned 11, because part of me actually believed that the wizarding world was really just hiding from Muggles, so that's why no one believed. I thought I would get my letter to Hogwarts; I was so looking forward to it. Wizards/Witches, like vampires, have also been in my childhood fantasies while growing up. And they are just as fabulous as vampires are, just in different ways.

witch. for me, its trying your own strength and ability, its not being afraid of dying, immortality is just an excuse for death, or maybe cheating death. wizards can put their life at risk and try defending themselves as far as their abilities and magic could go, not like vampires, they could run-off a scene, and their immortality has nothing to save but themselves.. why will i be afraid of dying? many questions can be answered when death comes, so be it.!

I'd be a witch any day. First off, I wouldn't want to be a vampire, EVER. How could you kill a poor, innocent animal like that and be morally okay with it? Also, do you really think living forever would be that great? Think about it: you have to watch all your friends die while you are stuck living, and you never get to see what happens after life. Living forever would drive you insane. Look at Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles (which are REAL vampires, not sparkly wannabe's). They go mad after a few hundred years and often end up killing themselves anyway. The books are much more realistic, where as Twilight couldn't be less realistic. Are you really so afraid of death? Just like Voldy... *walks away shaking head*

Now, as a witch, I could use magic. I could attend Hogwarts and join the Order of the Phoenix and Dumbledore's Army. I can use magic to do all sorts of things, from making things float to casting a protective Patronus to cleaning my messy room. I'd get to go to all these wizarding stores such as The Three Broomsticks, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, The Leaky Cauldron and Honeydukes. I'd get to see all sorts of magical creatures, including dragons, unicorns, pigmy puffs, merpeople, centaurs, trolls and house elves, and that is just to name a few. I can learn all sorts of things, from Defense Against the Dark Arts to Potions (ex. The Draught of Living Death, Polyjuice Potion, Veretesierum but I think I spelled that one wrong... too lazy to check now) and Charms.

I'd rather play Quidditch than vampire baseball any day.

I'd rather drink Butterbeer than animal blood any day.

I'd rather have friends who actually care about you and love you than a fake family of cowards who only care about themselves and their love interest (which is actually overpowered lust).

Wizard is my first preference. Just to my taste a little more. Id rather take the wand and magic over drinking anyone/anythings blood.

If I did go with vamp, my type would be more along the lines of Anita Blake style vamps *Mmmm... Jean Claude* Probably best left to the imagination on that one
