I like Twilight :)

I dont think that its the right way to put 'true love' and thinks its right, Most people on here just jump to conclusions saying that EVERY Twilight Fan is going to go out and find a boy friend just like Edward and fall deeply in love with him..Its not like that for some, I like Twilight because i just loved reading it, i enjoyed reading about Vampires,werewolves,humans all mixed together in one world, some may think its 'badly written' and 'how could ANY one like it' But people have their own oppionons and 'i liked reading Twilight'! if you dont like that then fine, think what you wanna think.

But im proud to say that "IM A TWILIGHT FAN"

That is a poor generalization roselaughsalot. I, for one, am not deluded enough to imagine that I could find "a man like Edward Cullen". Twilight is purely a work of fiction, and a fantasy fiction at that. Personally, that is why I like to read, and in this case, like to read Twilight, because it is simply a form of escapism.

I know that vampires and werewolves, and Edward Cullen and Jacob Black along with them, or not real and are completely fictitious. And I do not doubt many other readers know it too.

Despite this rash generalization, you did make a far point in that Twilight is not everything. Twilight is only a small part of my life, and I try to distance myself from the hysteria that surrounds the majority of Twilight fans. They can be irrational and obsessive, but that does not mean that all are like that.

I would also like to add (not in regards to roselaughsalot) that although Twilight is at times badly written, it is irrelevant to the story. Stories are, as I said before, a form of escapism. And if you - as I am sure many other people are - growing tiresome of the Twilight universe, try your best to tune it out. If this is too hard for you, if you find there is no way around it, you should be comfortable knowing you are not like that, it’s fine to not agree with people, it’s called freedom of speech. You are able to express your opinions in the correct way, on a forum or domain where you can debate with others in an appropriate way.

Because Twilight awoke a longing in every girl for true love. But they need to see that Twiliight is a crap book and is badly written. But they want someone to care enough for them that they would risk they're lives for you or they would go in a depression if they parted with you. cough cough can you say lamer. Twilight is an obsession story and bad message to girls all around.

People still like Twilight, especially girls, because they want a man like Edward Cullen, or Jacob Black. I'm NOT a Twilight fan. I simply hate it and i hope people realise that Twilight isn't everything.

its for the same reason some people love twilight.

and im sorry for being mean now but i really dont feel like writing why i like twilight and anyway would it change your life if people told you why they like/hate it???

I must say I am or now I think I could say WAS a Twilight fan., I really like the books at first I couldnt put them Down But As I read the books again I Was like WTF this book is so un real)Im not saying Twilight is a bad book and that no one should read it.But It is badly writen I dont think girls realize because they are all caught up in the Forbiden love ,Or True love and the Edward Cullen just give them time they will all snap out of it soon.. :\ I hope I Dont think the world can stand another sec with all these Twilight fan girls hahaha Some are insane hmmm maybe the cure is I better book HP anyone.? lmao

harry potter is ten million times better than twilight and it was ok for people to like twilight when it first came out, but now? seriously?

well i think twilight and New moon its really GOOD AND AMAZING. But i love both,and i think its always will be someone some like Twilight more or Harry potter more,but its NOT importen, all have diffrent taste,i love both and cant choose between hp and twi:D

I know the one reason why people like Twilight, and EVERY Twilight fan will deny this, but it is the one and only truth.

They like Twilight because Edward is hot. They wish a super hot boy would stalk them too.

The story? Doesn't matter. Edward's personality? Doesn't matter. As long as he is pretty, that's all that counts. Put it this way: if SMeyer had made Edward ugly (I know she never would, that's not the point). How many people would still like Twilight? Hmm... lets see... um... zero?

They also want a boy to obsess over them, which is exactly what Edward does. It's "true love" if they are ridiculously obsessed with each other, and that's the way it goes. At least, that's the way it goes in a Twilight Fan's mind. Harry Potter fans, on the other hand, know what love really is.

I have been sitting here at my computer for like 10 minutes and i cannot think of any reason people still like Twilight. Lets all just say Harry Potter rocks and let that be the end of this.
