I love to go to metal shows, well really just concerts in general.. but in every town I go to, there are obviously locals. Since I live in Raleigh, NC, I have about 2 spots that get metal shows. Volume 11 Tavern, and the Lincoln Theater. Both are great spots, and have had some great bands come through. What I want to know is, where do you go to see shows in your area?
When i used to go (don't go out much any more :\) it was always Fowlers Live (in Adelaide, South Australia). Such a big area and the right height stage (i've had stages that have crushed into my pelvic bone and that hurts sooo bad) and they have a little DJ booth off to the side so when bands set up they can play cheesy 80's/90's music xD
I live in a small enough place in Ireland and there's a pub/club here that has lots of metal gigs and Chris Ponius's [Jackass, Wildboyz] band played here.
