Hi guys , I just got a brilliant idea, and wanted to ask for your opinions before I begin on my “brilliant idea”. If you are familiar with other forums besides helena-world, you might have seen these kinds of things before. They frequently happen on IMDB.
Anyways, I just got the idea that this forum should have like an “award” ceremony; where we would nominate users for different categories of awards (ie: Most Optimistic User, etc...), and then we would have an “official” voting day, where we vote for one of the nominated people of each category. I would then post the results a few days later or something.
I was thinking that I could first make up the categories (you guys can suggest ones as well), and then we would use this thread as an “official nomination thread”, where you can nominate...

I simply love her because she is different!
I mean, take a look at all the anorexic,drug taking,dumb,clone- like,untalented actresses there are. Most of them end up in rehab or on the cover of some scandel magazine. Not exactly people to look up to.
Most of the actresses/singers we see in hollywood, really aren't great people. Not all of them, just most. All of them dress the same, take drugs, sleep with random people, get lipo, weigh nothing, and are usually ignorant. They are completely self absorbed and have some sort of disaster in their life. They participate in trully reckless behavior. Be honest, do you actually look up to people like: Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Nichole Richie, Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, or Christina Aguilara? Probably not. You might love their music, movies or even just the fact that they have twice the amount of cleavage that is normal, but the actual people are just not people to aspire to! They are irresponsible people who are completely out of touch with reality. Society today tells people that they have to be blonde, thin, and the same as everyone else, to be considered beautiful. So, everyone here loves Helena, but I hate it when people go, "zomg, she's so pretty and perfect!". And this whole religion thing, I don't get it
I mean, yes, she's beautiful (you'd have to be blind or dead not to notice it) but she is sooo much more than that. I first see her as an actress, not just a pretty face. I mean, seriously, she's been acting since she was thirteen, and she had to work bloody hard to get to where she is now.
But the one thing that really gets me about *some* of her fans is that they say she is perfect. I hate to break it to them, but she's not. Nobody is perfect. But in my opinion, that makes her even more adorable.
The sleep talking thing is just so unbelivably cute (see her Jonathon Ross interview if you don't know what I'm talking about) and yes, it's a flaw. I love her flaws, and when people say she's perfect, it winds me up, because you've got the actresses that seem perfect, and they are just so incredibly boring as people that they just aren't likeable.
