Why would they change Hello Kitty's image?

Back in the day Hello Kitty was this cute little kitty with a red bow and overalls. Now THAT'S the real Hello Kitty. Now, Hello Kitty is an innapropriate icon. She wears these Bratz stuff and she looks goth and everything. Now I'm sure i'm not the only one upset about this! Are you?

Hello Kitty's overall image hasn't changed. But they've added some new "looks" to her at times, to appeal to new generations or new trends. They'll come and go... and the main image of Hello Kitty that we all know and love will always endure :)
