Angela will reveal quite a few secrets in the later half of the volume.

Monica will take center stage as a story arc about her being St Joan unfolds.

The 'Disaster' episode is probably the future episdoe -

Its in the future when you see Sylar find the list and kills Elle, Micah is dead by Sylar, along with Matt Parkman and Hiro Nakamura. Also in the future Peter and Nathans father appears, and Peter probably has the choice of staying in that future (to stay with his dad, but having all those people dead) , or going back in time (to fix the people becoming dead)

So the season 3 preview clip is probably from the future episode.
