I thought there was gonna be a massive fight off between Peter and Sylar, it kinda sucked how it was nothing really. And I heard it was a 2 hour special, how wrong again.
It's probably because of my high expectations that I feel kinda let down, but to the neutral, it wasn't all that bad an episode in my opinion.
Sylar still alive, can Peter re-generate in space, and the only way Nathan could stop being a douché is to take his brother with him... hmm
the bad man molly is afraid of is prob the old man who peter used to work for as a nurse and thats because he can see peter and he actually isn't a bad guy at all he's nice
just gotta say, i like peter petrelli, but whats with his mouth movements? He looks like he is having spasms, gets a bit annoying sometimes ah well if he cant help it he cant help it!
Awesome episode, so here's what i think, Sylar is dead but his blood drips in to the sewers so he'll live again? Maybe in another body? Not sure ^^ Peter exploded but as we know he regenerates, i don't think Nathan is dead, i think he took Peter into the sky, maybe Peter needed to touch his brother again so he could re-use the flying ability again, maybe Natahn flew just a few meters with Peter and then flew another way? And last but not least, i've been talking a lot about those cockroaches coming back during the entire series has anyone noticed them? You can see one of those bugs at the sewer where Sylar's blood goes in!!! Suresh talks about those bugs in ep.1 then you can see one of the cockroaches in the episode where Sylar is kept imprisoned, etc... so what's with those bugs? ^^
I believe Peter and Nathan are dead. If they didnt died, it would take away from the story. Throughout the entire first volume, Peter could only use one "borrowed" ability at a time. Since he was, somehow, stuck using his radioactive powers and couldnt control it, he couldnt use any other powers to get away. (ie. flying) So it would make sense to the story for Nathan to redeem himself by helping Peter save the world by flying away together. This was foreshadowed when Peter blacked out and talked to the old black man (Charles). During that "dream", Peter and Simone talked about death and how it can be a beautiful thing. So one should definitely assume that both Peter and Nathan are dead.
I'm interested in seeing next season are 1) if Matt Parkman will survive those 4 bullets to the chest 2) How did Sylar live 3) What are his two unknown ablities (According to all of the murders mentioned, he has 11 ablilties including his own) and 4) HIRO!!!

wow. this finale is kind of disappointing. why would nathan need to fly peter out of there when peter himself could fly? peter and sylar's fight was boring. peter's got a lot of powers and all he did was throw punches.
Yeah- know what you mean. The 'official' line for the '2 hr special' is that the last 3 episodes were a 3 part finale.
good ending to season 1, not great, but left too many questions unanswered to keep people waiting.
One thing that really annoys me is that everywhere there are still pics of simone everywhere- on all the promo pics...etc. Shes dead!!!! She wasn't a heroe!
but peter survived in the 5years on episode so he must be able 2 use 2 ablities at once. i agree thou, peter has some really cool powers and he just stands there choking...wtf?! i was expecting a massive showdown but apparently not, still a pretty good episode thou.
I thought it was a brill episode, ok the build up may have meant it should have been better by expectation but they really couldn't have done anything more. Hope chapter 2 is as good if not better. Cracking stuff!
