There’ll be two new characters joining the main cast of Hollyoaks later this year. You might recognise these blonde bombshells from Hollyoaks Later which aired on E4 back in November last year...
Loretta, played by Melissa Walton, is the woman that Dom can’t get out of his head ever since he met her at a strip club in Hollyoaks Later. She’s sexy, sophisticated and intelligent, everything Dom wants in a woman. Tired of his grumpy mood, Ste plays the matchmaker and invites her to Il Gnosh. Looks like love’s finally in the air for Dom!
Cheryl, played by Bronagh Waugh, is Malachy’s bubbly, blonde and brash ex-girlfriend from Belfast who decides to take a leaf from his book and make a new start in Hollyoaks. Her arrival will Hollyoaks will put the cat amongst the pigeons with Zak and certainly won't go unnoticed by Malachy and his new wife Mercedes!
Hollyoaks Producer, Lucy Allan said, “Cheryl and Loretta will bring an energy and a sense of fun to the show. Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) returns to Hollyoaks next week, but it looks like bad luck’s on his side as he struggles to fit back into everyday life.
Darren returns to the village planning to get his life back on track. Cindy’s more than happy to help, and gets him his job back at the Dog, but Rhys is determined to give him a hard time, almost getting him put back in prison! Steph finally takes pity on him and offers him a job at MOBS, but on the way home with the day’s takings, Darren is mugged. Is it just bad luck or is somebody out to get him?

Here's a sneaky preview of the thrilling viewing you can expect from HOLLYOAKS this Christmas! Since Louise discovered Mandy and Warren's affair she's turned into a woman seriously scorned and seeking revenge!
Warren on the other hand is completely oblivious and is preparing to marry to woman he loves. You can image his shock then, when he discovers a gun under Louise's pillow in their bridal suite. Quick thinking as ever, Warren removes the bullets from the gun, and confronts Louise.
