So, I've been on Fanpop for about a year and 3 months or so now and in that time, I think I have only written maybe 1 or 2 articles so I'm not really familiar with these. But I had been thinking about doing this for awhile in this spot, and since it's 1 am it's the perfect time! I always come up with the best ideas when I'm supposed to be sleeping. So anyway, here is my list of top 10 favorite horror movies. They might include some spoilers, so beware.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984
I love this movie SO much! It's so weird because Halloween used to be my favorite horror movie, but upon multiple viewings this movie has made it to my number one horror. The theme music is terrifying & cool at the same time, and the plot aspect that he kills you in your dreams is just really awesome.

Saw series 2000's
I was originally going to use just Saw 1, because it IS my favorite but the fact is that I adore the whole series. I know there are a lot of people in here who don't appreciate the Saw movies and that's fine but I think they're brilliant &...

WOW!! Just WOW!! When I received the email from goonies, informing me that my fellow FanPoppers had voted for me for Horror Movies Fan of the Month, that was about what my reaction came to. It took a moment for the message to sink in. As I told goonies in my reply email to her, once I had cast my vote for the Fan of the Month, I forgot to add it to my updates, and it went out of sight, out of mind. So this was really a surprise.
So, thanks to everyone who voted for me. I’m really thrilled with this honor. I especially want to thank Aerohead, who was kind enough to offer the title to me for the month of July, even though we had tied for the win. Thanks so much!!
To get in the “horror-fying” frame of mind, I have cranked up my iTunes and now I am playing horror movie theme songs at top volume to set the mood for the answering of the questions in this interview (The “Halloween” theme song is going right now). Now, on to the really fun questions!!

1.) Congratulations, you've just won Fan Of The Month in the Horror Movies spot! I think you're very deserving of this title but you wanted to re-do the pick - why?
Firstly, thanks so much! That means a lot coming from you, or anyone for that matter! But I asked about re-doing the pick because I mainly felt that it was unfair. Only 10 users voted, and it's not like I exactly gave them a ton of time to actually vote (only 1 1/2 days!). It's not that I wanted more votes, I just thought everyone should get a proper chance to vote for whomever they wanted. I was disappointed by the turnout =( BUT I will get over it! There's always next month's, and it's done now.
2.) It's quite well-known that your a huge horror movies' buff. What are your personal top 5 favourite horror films?
