Hayho! This is one article for Missy and well my thought of her.I wanted to write this article not because od pity or to make her feel better but to show her that she's not alone. I guess I have to start with what happened in the Huddy spot. Days ago I don't remember if it was Saturday or Friday, someone opened a thread speaking that Fanpop users were stealing her artwork and that they should credit properly, I got involved because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It really wasn't such a big deal but this user wanted to shut down the gallery and the Huddy spot. Missy soon arrived and she made some pretty good points and she calmed the user down I think (she hasn't returned). She said this (that's just a part of the whole post): Thirdly, this is a sharing site. That is why your artwork (and the artwork of countless others) gets posted here. Fanpop was created for fans to share with each other the things that they find and the things that they create themselves. That is why people post other people's artwork here. We, for the most part, are just normal fans who want to share things we discover with our friends here. There is ABSOLUTELY no maliciousness in it AT ALL. I understand that you are highly offended by the people who have not credited you, but I can assure you that nobody here ever intended to harm you in any way. As you see she sees all fanpopers as really nice persons. She doesn't want any trouble of any kind and it is very hard for her. I obviously agreed with what she said. And well she was trying to keepp things quiet. Then another forum was opened speaking of the ship wars. We all know missy ships everything so this is what she posted: You guys are so right. There is certainly absolutely no need for any kind of argument here. But there is certainly a desperate need for some respect for people's opinions Again she posted more stuff but I just took few lines. I understand everything she say s about the Hameron/huddy "war" because I don't like ship wars and I totally want us to be nice to each other. So then I went to the Ham spot. I know I have nothing to do in there but I wanted to see what missy said there. I discovered that she was really disappointed of the Hams because they were bashing other ships (not really Huddy). And missy again said: Sorry, but I don't really participate in forum topics here at the Hameron spot anymore. It often ends up turning into a bashing session, as evidenced by the forum topic about ruining the Chameron wedding, which just makes me sad. I usually come through here every now and then to rate stuff, but I never feel comfortable participating in any forums. So I hope more people reply to this forum so that more positive Hameron shipping can happen. I am so fond of her I really admire how she wants all fans to be happy and respected. She really think she can do that and well I'm seriously pissed about this. Yesterday a group of fans played prank to us in the House MD spot. It was about ship wars too. Missy knew this persons and well they responded in a rude manner to her. She made an awesome article and they're bashing her. But what really pisses me of apart from the bashing is that she has lost all hopes in Fanpop. And I mean that's not what is supposed to happen. So people I'm afraid that if we continue behaving stupidly we may lose an awesome fan. And besides we will continue losing people, really I love fanpop 'cause everything is so peaceful between everyone and well I'm really such a hippie. Really think about it I know it's not all of you but if you get pissed or something just don't scream it try to be logic first. So who is with me to support misanthrope86??? Missy I am showing you my support, don't give up on fanpop. I know it has been bad lately but it will get better! |

I admire pretty much everything she does around here and she's always so nice to everyone.
She always is intelligent, calming, insightful and we are lucky to have her here on this site, its users like her that make Fanpop worthwhile.

Well they should.
Not crediting DOES equals stealing. Not only do you get angry people like the one in this case, Fanpop could get in serious legal problems if lots of stuff is being posted without credit.
