*SPOILERS* Impending Doom

*SPOILERS FOR UPCOMING EPISODES IN SEASON 5* Ok, so those of us who are spoiler whores will know all about the recent spoiler informing us that a main cast member is going to die. Naturally, speculation has been flying round the spot like a blowfly on speeeeeeeeeeeeed! There is also a suggestion that the character's death could actually be a suicide, but as far as I can tell, that is not confirmed as a 'House MD' rumour. I will include it in my theorising though. In this article, I am going to summarise what we know and illustrate my own personal theory about who the doomed character is. With a heavy heart, here goes: House? No, of course not. But we all know that. Wilson? Highly unlikely, given that Robert Sean Leonard has signed on for a couple more seasons. I guess it is possible that he negotitated himself out of the contract (we all know RSL hates to work! Plus, he is now a father and his priorities would have probably changed). But overall, I don't think Wilson is going to leave Princeton-Plainsboro (or earth, for that matter) anytime soon. Cuddy? Nope. Other spoilers from earlier on in the season indicated that Cuddy was never going to be leaving anytime in the near future. So, in accordance with the most recent spoilers, which state that the character that is leaving is not a character that has been rumoured to be leaving, Cuddy is not our doomed character either. Chase and Cameron? Again, nope! Both are expected to feature more prominantly in season 6. Unless we follow them into the afterlife, they are not going to be leaving the show. Foreman or Thirteen? Both of these characters have been strongly rumoured to be the characters departing the show. My own line of thinking was heavily biased towards one of these guys leaving. But, once again, if we believe the recent spoilers, neither of these two can be the doomed character. Taub? Once again, Taub has already been rumoured to leave. But as a few people have poined out, we have learnt about Taub's recent financial troubles, his marital troubles and his past suicidal ideation/attempt. This is where the suicide rumour comes into play. It is possible that Taub is overcome by his most recent trouble, thus leading to his exit from the show. However, this does not fit with the clues from the recent spoiler, as Taub committing suicide would not be out-of-the-blue. We already know that Taub has thought about suicide in the past, so if his character were to commit suicide, it wouldn't be a huge shock, given his current situation in which he seems fairly unhappy. The spoilers also suggest that this death comes out of nowhere, its completely random. Since the "Taub is struggling" storyline has been building ever since the season 4 episode 'Ugly' (in which we learn about his affair), then his death would not be completely random. For these reasons, I think it is unlikely, yet still possible, that Taub is the doomed character. So that leaves... Kutner. I actually teared up a little when I came to this conclusion. But, considering the spoiler information that we have to go on, Kutner fits. Kutner has not been rumoured to be leaving. There have been very few, if any indicators that he would leave, so his death would be totally inexpected. As for the theories about him committing suicide, I definately understand how that could be plausible (for example, suffering the trauma of losing hid parents, acting out as a bully at school and so on). However, I'm not sure if suicide is a likely course of action for Kutner. Of course, that lends more support to the idea that this death will be out-of-the-blue, that it will shock us and it will be someone we didn't expect in a manner that we did not expect... So, at this point, I am fairly convinced that Kutner is our doomed character. And quite frankly, that fucking sucks. As you all know, I am fairly uncritical of the show. I love every aspect of the show, and up until this point, the only thing that has disappointed me is the way that PI Lucas was just sort or tossed aside. That storyline just ended with so many loose ends. And I didn't like that. But other than that, I have seen the point in every decision that has been made on the show. But this? I don't understand yet. I had prepared myself for Thirteen or Foreman's departure and I understood why either of those characters would leave. But my new theory sucks. I hate it. And woret of all, I don't understand it. I hope I am so wrong. I hope that other peoples' theories about dream-sequences and so on are more accurate than my assessment of the evidence. the only other one that even crossed my mind was Foreman...I LOVE Foreman and i really hope it's not him leaving.
Seriously, he's like my favorite character. If... if he dies I will seriously stop watching it. I really will. It's not worth it.
I really hope I'm wrong though, because he is one of my favourite characters. :(

If only it could be Taub.... but I know a lot of you like him so I'll shut up now.
after that theory it would make sense kutner goes, but think. we came to that conclusion TOO easily. now the writers, being as gifted as they are wouldnt make it that easy for us to debunk their highly secret storylines.
no, i think kutner mite not b the one to die. as of now i honestly think we could be pulling more towards cuddy, or even foreman.
think about it. everyone assumes house will end up with cuddy. heck, i thought it was going to happen. but her just getting her baby now makes me believe that this can neve happen. baby=no huddy, and isnt that wat the writers have been tauning us with the whole time? wat if house will now have to care for cuddy's kid, out of extreme guilt for never fessing up to cuddy?
foreman mite go as well, but i dont think itll happen. rite now he is thirteens base and support. if he dies its pretty much over for the girl, and shell resume to a shell of her self. we already know 13 isnt that emotionally stable to begin with, and foreman's death would eviqually start a chain reaction for 13's death, and KJ did say the cast would remain PRETTY MUCH the same. can use that term if 2 of your guys r out.
i also am a fan of the "illusion" with house. wat if, in his brilliant mind of his, "kills" himself mentally, as a side-effect of the drug treament he currently was under in NY? ive alway felt house could imagine too well, down to a fact hwere thoughtout most of season 1, 2, & 3 i felt wilson was his imaginary friend, and not really THERE in those particular scenes. and i did hear long ago that the writers planned to have the seires move with an absncne of house at one point. could this be the opening theyre looking for? a mental suicde house. (didnt the ep where wilson reunited with his brothe in a PSYCH hosptial mean anythintg? we just heard his brother had a mental disorder that ep, not in "histiories" when he was first developed as a man who just simply walked away from wilson. pretty quick way to tie in a loose end and foreshadow at the same time i think....
so my final list goes to cuddy (so the writers can free up house once and for all, and land him with a nice boucning baby to deal with, TAUB (as a sad victim of reveres psychology the writers used on us to expect kutner in the first place,) and of course, our poor dis-straught house. its been a while since we've seen him in total mental break-down state...
cant wait to see how this all plays out.
