For five years, Hugh Laurie has had to defend the character he plays on television. As the star of Fox's House, Laurie still finds viewers, be they fans or critics, asking him questions about Dr. Gregory House's often unpleasant demeanor. Why does he have to be so mean? Are you saying it's okay to be rude if you save lives? But despite his questionable bedside manner, House continues to be a ratings winner -- one of the reasons perhaps being that his obnoxiousness is administered with an equal dose of humor.

Chapter two: It’s Summer!!!
“Oh, don’t act surprised”, my aunt started, “You know she was coming and you agreed on involving her as a part of the team if she took some of your clinic duty. That is 2 hours a day!”
“And yet, she is 3 hours with me. Somehow I think that’s not fair.” You could hear House from behind me, being sarcastic again.
“You’re an adult, House. Get over it.” And with that my amazing aunt left leaving the diagnostician a little bit confused. God, she knows how to handle him! There was a brief second of silence until House snapped: “Where were we when Spring interrupted us?” This man just won’t let go! It’s Summer!!! How long could he get on with this thing?
“The patient has abdominal pain, nausea, loss of appetite… So far.” That was Kutner saying. And may I say, there’s just something about Kutner… He was a little bit chubby, but still pretty good looking. Or maybe just in this room, where his only competition were mean...

Chapter One: New beginning
Ok, so here I am. I’ve parked my car in front of this enormous building and I still can’t believe this is happening! I’m actually going to work in Princeton uh… something starting with P, Teaching Hospital. I have to check it’s full name. I’m so excited I don’t even know what its full name is! Wait, I think it’s Plainsboro. Yeah, that’s it.
So, I’m going to work here for the rest 5 years 5 hours a day. Well, not really work- volunteer, and 5 years? If everything works out. I am a little bit nervous, let me correct myself, I’m a LOT nervous to meet my new boss. People say he tends to be mean, rude and does whatever he wants. As they say: He’s just being House.
I hope that I won’t get off on the wrong foot with him. But somehow, I feel that’s exactly what’s going to happen!
