I'd assume most of you are familiar with the phrase "jumping the shark"...it's the point where you know a show is done for.
And alot of people have been saying things like "if House and Cuddy get together, House has jumped the shark" and blah blah blah. So I think the writers had House literally jump the shark as kind of an "up yours" to those people. :-]
Or do I just read into things too much?

Actually, it took me about five seconds to see what you meant.
I do belive this was..quite the pie-in-the-face for the fans who belive the jump-the-shark- buisness.
And really..that was the greatest way to do it ever. =D

I agree. What better way to do it than with House avoiding clinic work and building a course for his toy car?

At the very beginning of the episode, the toy car jumped a rubber shark.

i totally said the same exact thing when i was watching it and burst out laughing. that is completely something the writers would do. i am 100% convinced it was not a coincidence, i challenge someone to prove to me that it was just a coincidence.

Totally! Actually the car never jumped the shark..Am I wrong? It can't be a coincidense that Cuddy stopped the car and then her face when she said OOPS!

I agree with you guys! And Meredith is right, Cuddy saved the shark! That's not a coincidense, no way it is!!! A message to us the true fans that what they have in their mind to do (keep up with Huddy, bring back Chameron etc) will not change even if some people try to convince them that what they do has lead the show to lose interest! Which is sooooooooooooooooo untrue! Now it's more interesting than ever!!!
