Ok this is my first article ever so be gentle if its not in the best contexted.
There are alot of poeple right now giving there opinion on the episode "Unfaithful" and i just wanted to give mine own, on the song.
I would love if everyone stated there own opinions as well, in the comments :).
My thoughts on the song is that its set into 2 parts:
1)The jewish song part(i don't really know the name) and 2)'You can't always get what you want'
In the beginning of the song its a simple melody thats not really apart of the song yet then the music pauses. When the music pauses we see here House and Cuddy talking. Then we see them just talking about the weather (i mean literally i'm not being sarcastic). House starts the conversation with this and Cuddy responds easily. Then House mentions the party trying to see if Cuddy would ask him to go. Cuddy does respond but by answering and then bring up the weather talk again (still not being sarcastic). House response is to make lite of the (kinda getting ackward) moment and makes a joke about cuddy sister(and im guessing that cuddy isn't so cool with her sister). Cuddy still is not getting...

Cuddy heard a knock at her door. She settled Rachel down, before she made her way to the door.
Cuddy: What are you doing here?
House: I thought we could talk.
Cuddy: Come in.
(Cuddy entered her living room, which was filled with baby stuff. House stayed standing, whilst Cuddy sat
down on the sofa.)
Cuddy: Its obviously not about a patient. So what is the reason?
(House looked hesitant to say anything.)
House: I want a relationship with you.
(Cuddy's face was overcome with shock and then surprise until finally sadness.)
Cuddy: I don' t know what to say.
(House realised he had opened himself up too much, and couldn't say a word.)
Cuddy: House-
(Rachel began to cry, and Cuddy seemed to understand that it was the wrong moment for an interruption.)
Cuddy: I have to-
(House nodded, whilst Cuddy rushed to Rachel's room. House got up to leave, not before glancing at Cuddy

"Cuddy's lost custody of Rachel." Wilson stated sadly.
House, who was sitting at his office computer, looked up from the screen to catch his friend's mournful face.
"The grandparents?" House asked.
Wilson nodded his head.
"But they didn't want her. They said it would be too painful."
"I guess they changed their minds." Wilson said as he placed his head in his hands.
"Where is she now?" House asked in a whispered tone.
"Guess."

House walked to her front door and was about to knock but stopped himself. He remembered her hidden key and took it from under the rock.
Once inside he saw that the whole place was cloaked in darkness. He knew she wasn't asleep though. As he walked down the hall he heard soft wimpers coming from behind the nursery door.
He didn't walk in or bust in. This time he knocked.
"Cuddy, it's me. I used your key." He said through the door.
