I haven't seen this until now lol, sorry. Worth what? being kept going? honestly, no. I don't think it's worth it. Everyone here will probably agree that he does look happiest when around her. He's even talking about her more than he ever has. The changes are small, but the reason behind them could be huge. He seems a lot more content nowadays. His marriage is suffering, and it sucks he continues to keep it going when it seems nothing more but a comfort and an obligation. I'm not the only one who thinks this. It's obvious. Hope he finds some happiness soon.

Maybe and just maybe Jo has threatened Hugh that if he leaves, she will kill lisa or something O_O... ok no! XDD
Naah, but as i said before, she's the wife when she wants to... maybe she feels secure being Mrs Laurie, 'cause that brings with it some respect towards her and thats something that maybe she never had hahahahaha What i mean, is that if i were married i will follow my husband whenever he goes because that what marriages are about.. to be together, to support each other and i honestly cant see her supporting him by thousands of miles of distance... But if he doesnt have any problem with it, why we would do? he's the one who will be miserable and i dont care as long as he doesnt drag Lisa into it. But aaaaanyway, what i can say is that i think the same as you, Hugh seems to be happiest man alive when hes with lisa... and lisa seems to see in him what shs's been looking for |

Ok, so I am a little late to the party. I have been a House/ Huddy fan since the premier but I just recently realized that this spot was here and that people honestly feel there is something between Hugh and Lisa.
To be totally honest, I know little about Hugh's marriage. I know that at one point he had an affair which I think he blames on some depression issues. I know that he lives away from Jo for a large part of the year. Well, what I can say about this is that I have been married for 15 years. I have only been away from my husband for about 5 days at any one time and it was too long. We were going through a rough time back then and it wasn't good for me to be away from him, but I have eventually learned that I don't function really well without his balance in my life. I know some people can go for long periods of time being away from each other and still have a functional relationship, but whether it would be a vital, growing and solid relationship...I would wonder. As far as moving their kids, their life to the US and then maybe the show gets cancelled, that may have been a smart decision in some ways, but I can't help but think that their marriage and family life has suffered a little for it. |

Yes. I think he loves his wife and they should stay together. Hugh and Lisa seem to be great friends, but anything more would be inappropriate while he's married. Just me, though.

I only say Hugh seems upset when he's with his wife is because of the fact people are taking pictures of him while he's doing just that. He's supposed to be relaxing, not getting photographed every which way. But unfortunately that's how it is.
He does seem happy with Lisa, but he's that way with RSL too. They all smile a lot together, they all seem comfortable with each other. But Hugh never seems overly happy about it. I've seen a lot of his interviews, and he doesn't act significantly different around Lisa. I've even seen those Huli fan videos, and I see nothing but friendship. And sometimes Hugh even seems like he's not paying attention xD; Obviously I don't know them. But realistically, Hugh forgetting his marriage for Lisa is not worth it. And who knows if it'd work out. But who knows at all? |
