I thought Sir Ian was fantasic in And the Band played on. An HBO movie about the history of the Aids crisis. I was overwhelmed. Ian was the most realistic and moving praformance. It is a hard thing to watch but if you love Ian its well worth hunting for. If that's not your cup of tea, then try Neverwas, Ian is in top form with Xmen alumni. Alan Cumming, who played Nightcrawler.

I was first introduced to Sir Ian by a film called the Keep, in the 80s. I looked at him then and thought to myself he'd make an excellant Magneto! ........... and I agree Ian as Gandalf. PERFECTION.
