Jeanette McCurdy (Sam) fired from iCarly???

Anyone knows about this? I have read on twitter and other forums that Jeanette McCurdy is no longer part of iCarly, on set pictures from Dan Schinider show "Gibby" taking "Sam's" place, what is going on? Is it true? Was she released from the show? What about the cryptic messages Jeanette has been placing in her twitter account about being in "the hospital" and then nothing?
