Do you think Robert Downey Jr. will make a good Tony Stark?

There's not even the tiniest bit of doubt in my mind that Robert will deliver, the trailers have shown me all I need to see, this is sure to be in my top five comic book films upon release.

I haven't seen any trailers or really read anything about the film, but I know Iron Man very well, and I know Robert Downey Jr's body of work pretty well. He's very good, and he's at an age where he should be able to play both the fanatical drive and the physical infirmity of Tony Stark very well. The only doubt in my mind is with the writing and (most importantly) the direction of the film.

I mean, it's kinda weird to have Iron Man when the communists aren't felt to be a palpable threat to Western civilization anymore. How will they keep Iron Man relevant? It's an interesting challenge, and I look forward to seeing the studio's choices.
