Why does everybody hate Jaocb??? Just because he tried to kiss Bella doesn't make him the bad guy, like everyones trying to make him look like!!

I think everyone on this forum pretty much loves Jacob. :P
The thing is, Edward is TOO perfect - I mean, perfect to the point of being a turn-off for me. I don't hate Edward though. That's the way he is and I like him the way he is, but Jacob is much more real to me and is just ADORABLE. People tend to forget how young he is and they compare him to a guy who's over 100 years old. It's like "Duh! Of course they have differnet maturity levels!" But even then, Jacob is so much more mature than other 16 year old boys. I say kudos to him. Meanwhile, Edward sometimes acts like a 17 year old boy when he should know better. I guess that's why Jacob is much more attractice to me.
I agree completely. I still haven't been able to read Eclipse (I just started reading the books). I was bored while reading Twilight and Edward and Bella annoyed me, though I liked Jasper, Alice and Emmett. Then, in New Moon I loved it and the only reason was Jacob. I heard that he acts like a jerk in Eclipse and I was so disappointed. But I think I got the gist of why and you're right, Edward has had way more time to become mature and I think people are being harsh on Jacob!

Eclipse was an easy read for me because the trio exhibited a lot of different facets of their personalities. I loved the tent scene but I won't spoil it for you - you need to get there to know what I mean. ;D
The scenes where Jacob kisses Bella in Eclipse are my favorite parts of that book. I'm not a huge Bella fan, but that was just so HOT! I feel bad for Jake, his rival is this obnoxiously perfect immortal being, but he puts up a pretty good fight despite the odds stacked against him. I'm proud to be a Jacob fan :-D
I knw why does everyone hate Jacob! he hasn't done anything! and i agree with you jacob4ever57 I would die for Jacob! and I'm being serious! I don't understand why people can hate Jake, it's impossible to hate him, you got to love him, he is just.... there are no word that I can use to describe Jacob, there aren't even enough words to describe him!

Ok. I made an account SPECIFICALLY for this. I never heard of this site before, but after reading all of the comments I just had to reply. I! LOVE JACOB! And any other person who thinks otherwise is crazy! I don't want Bella to choose Jacob because he deserves better... *cough* like me! :] haha.
There is A LOT of Jacob hate which annoys me. The girls that tend to be in love with Edward are brainless idiots who like the appeal of how he looks. Jacob is FUN he isn't overbearing and annoyingly perfect. Edward has no personality he only lives for Bella, it's great that he's in love BUT REALLY?!? Jacob has interests OUTSIDE of Bella ex. his love for cars, his friendship/kinship with "the clan", Billy Black ect. He's a GOOD person and has never had any bad intentions how can you not like him? Yes him kissing Bella forcefully was borderline sexual assault but he's desperately in love with her....not to mention that Bella probably liked it...
