I just saw it for a second time and it diminished in my eyes a bit. Overall I think it's a top 7 film or so in the pantheon of Bond, but more than just the traditional elements were lacking. I think I got caught up in the fervor of the action in my first comments. First, off it was just too short. I can only imagine how much might have been left on Forster's editing room floor.
