In the X-men mythos (Marvel comic book character for those of you libing under rocks) there is a personaje named Longshot who has the uncanny ability to survive dangerous feats simply by the incredible circumstances of luck that seem to find and protect him everytime. But he is not the only character in pop fiction that has this ability. In science-fiction there is also a female character in the novel "Ringwold" by Larry Niven that also is unusualy fortunate and thus has a special "ability." Does that sound like 007 to you? Or do I just think weird things?
