Everyone says that it's just a rumor. Yes, that's true. I watched a video on YouTube and Demi said that she heard that rumor herself and she cleared it up. She said that Joe's like a big brother to her. I hope that changes soon... x)

I am new to this site, but I have been a Jemi supporter since I saw behind the scene footage of Camp Rock. I believe when it comes to this question that Joe and Demi never officially dated. They might have had some moments together but at the time that Joe meet her he might have already had feelings for someone else. When they seperated after the movie Demi probably heard rumors about Joe dating and what not and felt a little betrayed. Since then I believe that they have both fallen in love with each other because of the time they have spent together. But each time they could have become officail something kept popping up "cause every hello ends with a goobye." I also think that having Nick around has not helped at all because he is smitten with Ms. Lovato, but then again who can blame him. The only problem there is that "Nemi" as some people call it will most likely never happen. Nick dated Demi's best friend, a friend that she has had for 10 years, do you think she would settle for Nick when she knows given time she can have Joe "The first one she fell for." And as we must remember Demi says that she is single and enjoying life right now, but this is a very smart and goal orientted woman. If she wants joe, he had no chance of getting away, cause they are "going to get back."
