I just wanted to put this out there. I just received Jon and Kates new book (which can be purchased through Amazon.com) which is titled " Multipule Blessings:surviving and Thriving with Twins and Sextuplets". I recieved it yesterday and stayed up till 2 in the morning and finished it. It was AMAZING! I have never read a book that has brought out such emotion in me. My husband was getting rather annoyed with me as I was waking him up laughing out loud or balling like a baby. Anyone that loves this family needs to read this book. And for those critics out there that dont like Kate and the way she runs her house needs to read this as well.
P.S. this book also talks about stuff that is/was never talked about on the show and gave me so much insight into why things are the way they are.
I have been a fan of your show since the beginning and I have loved watching because you show life and these wonderful kids that God gave to you.
I am also very sorry that you are going through these rough times right now. I have never believed the tabloids nor will I ever. What I am sad about is seeing the stress that is on the two of you right now. It broke my heart watching the opening episode of this season and seeing you both very upset.
I know you get a lot of advice from different fans. But, from a married lady of 30 years (and believe me, we have had our share of problems) here are some things that saved my marriage.
1. I know in previous episodes that you are religious people. Seek God and your minister, ask for guidance and counseling. I can't believe that after 8 kids, you still are only in it for the kids.
2. Go on hiatus for awhile so that privacy can help to mend wounds and heal hearts. I know that many of your fans will understand if this occurs. I know that I will watch when you return.
I never care about what couples are splitting up on reality shows because I figure they are on TV for the wrong reasons and making themselves look like idiots. One thing that got me about your show was it made me feel as tough as times are there's always a way through it. I know the stress of one child never mind eight. I don't buy magazines to see the latest gossip because then I feel I am just as bad as the people trying to get the latest scoop. I hope that even with the seperation you both will reconcile because when I see you guys on TV I can see the love you both have for each other. I just hope that you guys will find what brought you both together in the first place and start from that. I would never take the time to write something in a fan club but I just hope you get a chance to read it.
I've been with my boyfriend for 10 years and have had major problems but after a few weeks apart I knew there was nobody else. I'm not saying to stay together for the wrong reasons but I hope you both get a chance to really talk and open up before you give up.
