This sounds strange, especially since I'm English yet all of my favourite shows are American. But that's the problem. American shows are (in my opinion) better, but British shows are given more chances to succeed. Maybe it's because we have less channels over here, or because as a much smaller country the expectations of station owners are not as high ratings-wise but English shows always seem to be give more seasons and chances despite many not actually being as good as their cancelled American counterparts. I'm not saying there is no good British TV, but shows like 'HEX'... |
