I miss writing this story, I can't believe it's been a few days already...here's the next one :)
j_b End of Part 60 "Where to?" Edward asked again. "Well, Rosalie doesn't want to go east. Esme would prefer somewhere less sunny. I have been to the midwest enough that I would rather not go there...I guess that leaves the east coast." Carlisle said as she looked at all of us. "East coast, wait...." Edward said as he smiled. "I have heard that Seattle is very rainy, we wouldn't have to be stuck inside all the time." "We could get married outside then." Rosalie said as she smiled up at me. "Seattle then?" Carlisle asked. Everyone said yes to the idea of going to Seattle, to go anywhere that was not here. Carlisle decided that we would have to wait a few days so that we weren't rude and just leaving Tanya and her family. We all agreed to try and be polite as long as we could, but I knew that everyone was ready to leave and start over somewhere new. Part 61 "We can not hide in this room all day." Esme said as she stood up, smoothing out her dress. "True, we should go be social." Carlisle said as he stood up and walked to the door, holding it open for all of us. "Can't I just hide in here all day?" Edward said as he grinned. "Edward, be nice. She can't be that bad." Esme told him. "You have NO idea, Esme." "Stick with us, we'll protect you." I said as I grinned evilly. "No thanks, I'd rather hear Tanya's thoughts." Edward said over his shoulder as he turned and walked out of the room. I started laughing, thinking about how Edward would rather deal with Tanya and her thoughts instead of Rosalie and I and our thoughts. "Can we clean up before going out?" Rosalie asked. "Yes, but don't be long." Esme said as she looked at both of us. "We won't be, we just have to get cleaned up." Rosalie promised. I stood up, offering a hand to get up. She smiled up at me and took my hand in hers as she led the way to our room. We walked down the hall, stopping just outside the door. I turned and looked down at her to find her looking up at me, a smile lighting up her face. "What?" I asked, afraid I had done something. "Come on." She said as she opened the door and shoved me into the room. I walked over and sat on the bed, watching her as she closed the door behind her and turned to smile at me again. "What?" I asked again. "We're going to get married." She said as she walked over and stood directly in front of me. I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her close against me. "You already knew that." I said as I leaned forward kissing along her neck. "Yes..." She said, her voice a bit breathy. "But, now we're getting married in Seattle." She said as she closed her eyes. "Seattle." I said as I pulled back and smiled at her. "Who knows, Seattle could be our home for a while. Maybe we'll get our own place." She said as she leaned forward, pushing me onto the bed as she kissed me. "Our own place." I said against her lips. "Just us." She said, ending the conversation. We apparently lost track of the time again because before we knew it someone was knocking on the door. Rosalie groaned as she sat up, pulling the sheet to cover herself. "What?" She asked. "You are being rude, you both need to get out here and be social." Esme said from the other side of the door, you could tell from her tone that she was not pleased with us. "We'll be out in a minute, Esme. I apologize." I said as I stood up, grabbing some clothes from the trunk by the wall. "Don't take too long please." She said as she turned and walked back down the hall. "We need our own place." Rosalie said as she pouted. I couldn't resist her when she pouted, I had to make her smile. I pulled on some pants and a shirt before turning and crawling back on the bed, kissing her pouting lip. "Soon my love, we will have our own place." I said as I smiled down at her. "No one will tell us when or where we have to go, please just be patient. I love you by the way." I said as I leaned down and kissed her again. "I love you too, alright...let's go." She said as she smiled and started to climb off the bed, wrapping herself in a sheet. "I think you might want to get dressed first." I said as I laughed. "Are you sure?" She asked. "Rosalie," I sighed as I reached out and pulled her close again. "I want nothing more then to stay with you, but Esme was right. We are leaving here soon, we should go and be social." "I don't want to be around her." She growled. "Rose, ignore her. She is jealous of us, that we have each other." I said as I ran my hand down her cheek. "Please, get dressed so we can go...I don't want to miss Edward's face." I said as I started laughing, surprised when her laugh joined mine. "OK, give me a minute to get ready." She said as she turned and walked into the bathroom. "Emmett, will you hand me a dress?" I walked over to the closet and picked a light pink dress out handing to her as she held a hand out of the bathroom. "Thank you." She said as she closed the door, reopening it a minute later. She looked so amazing that I felt my jaw drop open a little. "I love that look on your face." She said as she walked up to me, kissing my chin. "Sorry, I can not get use to how beautiful you are." I said as I leaned down, kissing her as I wrapped my arms around her. She kissed me for a minute before she pulled back, her breath a bit sped up. "We have to go." She said as she started to walk back to the door. "I don't want to." I said as I sat down on the edge of the bed, pouting. She turned and laughed as she saw my pouting face. "Emmett, you're the one that told Esme that we wouldn't be long." She said as she came over and held her hand out to me. "I know...you're right." I said as I stood up, pulling on her arm...pulling her back against me as I kissed her surprised mouth. I grinned as I pulled back, fighting the urge not to laugh. "OK let's go." I said as I started walking back towards the door. "Mean Emmett....very mean." She said as she caught up, wrapping her arms around my waist as we walked out of the room. |
