End of Chapter 21**Jasper's POV** "It was a nightmare love, you have to believe that I would never...ever stop loving you." I said as I reached out and held her face. "You must trust in us love, I would never and could never stop loving you. The only way you will get rid of me is if you ask me to leave." "You still love me, after the way I reacted?" She asked, not understanding what I was telling her. I reached out, my hands going to either side of her face kissing her with all the emotions I was feeling, flooding the entire woods around us with passion and love. She was apprehensive at first, but soon all of her fear and doubt faded away and she relaxed. I am not sure how long we stood at the edge of the forest, enjoying our reunion and I would have been content to stay here, holding her like this. She laughed against my mouth, looking up at me with a sheepish look. "What?" I asked as I laughed at her expression. "I think we should go back in." She said as she turned and looked at the house, our entire family was standing on the grass, either clapping or whooping in joy. "Oh." I said as I leaned in and kissed her softly again. "Let's go." She reached her hand out, wrapping her fingers around mine as she giggled and started running towards the river, never letting go of my hand. We soared over the river, landing hand in hand as we turned and saw everyone coming to talk to us, Esme running in the front, her arms outstretched for me. Chapter 22 **Edward's POV** I was about to walk away, to let Jasper and Alice have their reunion when Alice looked right at me. Her thoughts such a jumble because she knew that Jasper was hurt, and no matter how often she looked for their future it was unclear to her. "Edward, please. Will he forgive me?" Alice thought as she stared directly into my eyes. "He's hurt, be patient." I thought as I shrugged my shoulders. "He loves you, he needs you...just explain things to him." I saw Alice take a deep breath then nod her head before I turned and jumped the river, making it back inside the house in a matter of time. I walked through the back door, laughing as I walked in and found Esme and Bella going through the fridge. "You didn't eat the pizza?" I asked as I walked behind Bella and wrapped my arms around her. "I was helping Bella find the juice I bought at the store." Esme said, proud of herself for grocery shopping. "Thank you Esme." I said as I pulled the juice out of the fridge and poured Bella a glass. I set the juice on the counter before turning and looking at Bella, my hand moving to her face. "You need to sleep love." I said as I noticed the circles the surrounded her eyes. "I'm not.." She started to say before Esme cut her off. "Bella, Edward is right. You look exhausted dear, you should go rest for a while." Esme said as she smiled and walked past into the living room. "I guess you might be right, I'm a little tired." She said as she yawned, causing me to laugh. "Maybe I should go home." "I'll drive you." I said as I went and got her jacket, helping her into it before turning and looking out at the woods where Jasper and Alice were talking. "Will they be ok?" Bella asked. "I hope so, Jasper is stubborn...but so is Alice. They should be able to work this out, they will work this out." I said as I smiled at her. I was just about to walk her out when I noticed Emmett watching out the back window, his thoughts about where Jasper could be. He knew the way that Jasper had felt while Rosalie and Alice were 'gone' and wished that he could go out there and try to talk some sense into him. "I wouldn't do that right now, they are.....reuniting." I said as I saw Jasper take Alice in his arms, kissing her passionately. "Oh...well...yeah I understand that too." He said as he grinned evilly, his thoughts returning to his and Rosalie's time together, the way Rosalie felt in his arms after her incident. "Emmett...please." I said as I rolled my eyes. "Oops." He said, thinking of how much fun it is to torture me. "Nice, thanks." I said as I shoved at him, instantly he shoved me back laughing as he thought of fighting. "BOYS....OUTSIDE!!!" Esme yelled, both Emmett and I stopping dead in our tracks because we knew that she only yelled when she was truly upset. Emmett pushed me out the backdoor before I could argue that I had to bring Bella back, Rosalie and Bella following us out as Rosalie grumbled to Bella about 'Men never growing up.' Emmett charged at me, but I heard his plan and moved out of the way laughing as he charged right into the river. He came back running as fast as he could as he laughed, shaking himself like a overgrown dog. He was about to launch himself back at me when he turned and saw Alice and Jasper getting a little too friendly, he instantly started cat calling and whooping. I laughed as I joined in, clapping loudly as Emmett yellied things like 'Get a Room' and 'It's about time.' I turned as I heard Esme and Carlisle come out, both of them smiling from ear to ear as they realized that their family was once again whole. |
