Re: Kathy Griffin's remarks on TV about Jesus Christ.
I did not know anything about this comedian, since I don't watch much TV, especially the Bravo channel. I don't watch garbage mouth comedians much because they think to be funny they have to use profanity in their acts.
I find it offensive not funny. "Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouth". Ephesians 4:29
But then, for someone who obviously does not have a relationship with the Lord, meaning a personal relationship as Lord and Savior, I guess anything goes with no conscience or Holy Spirit within to convict.
Just another reason on this website why I don't watch TV comedians.
Don't get me wrong, there are comedians that do not feel the need to be a trash mouth simply because they have moral and Christian values. But they are far and few between. After all, the world does not crave "wholesome" anything. It feeds on the profane.
You know, the great thing about life and in your country in particular, is that we all have choices. If you don't like this particular comedian or if you don't find her brand of humour funny, change the channel. She's not your cup of tea, but others may find her funny, I for one, find her hilarious.
But then, for someone who obviously wants to shove their religious beliefs down others' throats... I could go on for days about the offensive and discriminatory things that come out of the mouths of some of the so-called Christians, Just listen to some of the hateful things that come out of their mouths... (hello, Ted Hagee), and the anti-gay minister who got caught with the gay prostitute (can you say hypocrite?)
I would rather take listen to someone like Kathy Griffin. At least she's real and funny and entertaining, and does not apologize for what she says. And most importantly, she's not a HYPOCRITE! So put that in your pipe and smoke it.
If you don't like what she says, turn off the tele, cover your ears, turn away. No one is going to be sad or lose anything because judgemental individuals like you, who feel the need to preach at every turn, is not watching.
