Has Atonement come out in the US (or elsewhere outside of Oz) yet? If so, what do people think of it? I love its two leading stars so I hope it's a good film!
Maybe it's not my fav film (but it's surely in the top 10 of the movies which have influenced my life the most) but it's one of the best movies ever, the best of its genre....it's PERFECT: the performances are stunning (especially Saoirse Ronan - Briony), the characters are fascinating, the plot is fantastic, it creates a great emotional tension, the music is wonderful, the places and time where and when it's set are so beautiful and well-rebuilt.....what else could I say? It deserved the Oscar
