She said on an intrview on the Ellen Degeneres show, that was the reason she got into acting. Her parents gave her what she wanted (doctor recommendation) and she wanted an agent.

Many famous people claim they're deslexic, that's so popular these days.

i never knew that but im dyslexic too and she can kinda be seen as an inspiration
