Don't tell people its a good show. That is like telling them you think ice cream is essentialy good. Duh. Next subject. No interest, right? Intead, tell them what its about, tell them what's happened and tell them when it's on. If interested, and they might be depending how you chose to describe the plot, they'll decide if its good or not... after curiosity get the better of them and they watch.
