Because the ratings were too low when season 3 started. Funny thing is, the ratings began to climb back up with each week that passed, but the network was too impatient to give the show a chance to fully bounce back - so ABCfamily chose to let "The Secret Life" replace Kyle XY instead. Dumb huh...
