Matt isn't the sharpest actor in the world either, but he brings a flavor to Kyle that Tom wouldn't be able to bring. And Tom welling is weak as I said, but he's got a rhythm going on with Clark that Matt wouldn't be able to beat. But I suppose somebody completely different could play a better Clark than Tom - just not Matt...
