She doesn't wear a wig all the time she has short blonde hair the reason she dyed it is because "she kept getting mistaken for Amy Winehouse." And she also said that she was only discovered when she dyed her hair.

This picture is her natural hair, before she went blond. She still wears wigs a lot of the time. Mostly when she has the full bangs. Its really easy to tell she she has on a wig. Her bangs will be really sharp, and straight across. If you want to see her real hair, watch the "Bad Romance" video. Toward the end, when she is dancing in red, she doesn't have on a wig, or extensions. If you look closely, you can see her dark roots. I am sure of the information I am giving you. I am a hairdresser, and I deal with extensions and wigs quiet a bit.

She dyed her hair blond, but she also wears wigs... Can't remember what the name of the vid was, but there's one on youtube where she's performing, & her wig falls off, but she has her real hair under it & it's blond, so... yeah.
