In response to the other pick comment, yes they were! They actually offered him the part and he turned it down! Thank goodness. I can't imagine Adam Brody playing Ned with the subtlety that Lee Pace brings to the role. It would have been over the top comedy again a la the OC. Which was fine on that but I love Lee Pace in this role. The way they're dressing him does have an Adam Brody vibe to it though.
Really? Adam Brody was considered for the role of Ned? Well, I can see how the style of dress does have that Adam vibe to it. But I can't imagine anyone but Lee playing Ned.
Ok so this is unrelated (kind of) but while confirming that Adam Brody was offered the role of Ned (i couldn't remember where i read it..thanks imdb!) i found out that SMG was offered the role of Chuck! How awful PD would have been!
Wow. Pushing Daisies wouldn't feel right if they had Adam Brody and SMG in the roles of Ned and Chuck. The show really would have been awful, I wouldn't get past thinking SMG is Buffy and Adam is Seth!
